45 Storied Commercial Building – Rebar Coupler

Freehold Construction & Development is proudly providing complete threading and forging services for the prestigious 6B+G+39 Storied Commercial Building project of MGI.

Throughout the entire project, the client has adopted Standard Rebar Couplers as the primary reinforcement joining system. In this method, rebar ends are precisely threaded and connected using high-strength mechanical couplers—commonly known as Standard Couplers—offering superior structural performance and alignment compared to traditional lap splicing.

This large-scale project involves threading and forging for over 100,000 rebars, requiring continuous operation of four heavy-duty threading machines running day and night. The work is being executed by a dedicated team of 8 skilled operators and more than 50 laborers, ensuring top-quality production and timely delivery.

Alhamdulillah, the ongoing works are progressing smoothly, maintaining strict quality control standards. The use of FCD Standard Couplers and precision threading ensures maximum structural strength, consistency, and long-term durability for this high-rise commercial development.
